Delivery policy - products

As soon as an order is placed on Yallabargain.com, we notify the seller / owner, who have 24 hours to confirm the availability of the product. If the seller / owner does not respond or confirm the order availability within 24 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the buyer / renter. Upon confirmation, our logistics partners will try contacting the seller / owner before scheduling the pickup of the item.

Packaging of the item is the sellers / owner’s responsibility, if an item is not packed properly then we or our logistics partners are not liable for any damage to the item and no claims can be made whatsoever. We recommend packing all items securely using bubble wrap in a sturdy box. The renter needs to pack the item in the condition they received it at the end of the rental period when the item is scheduled for pick-up. If an item is returned by the receiver as damaged due to improper packing, then the sender needs to bear double of the delivery charges as displayed when listing the product else the item shall not be returned back to the sender.

We deliver the products all across the UAE. The delivery fees is included in the price of the products. For products which do not include the delivery fees, please check the applicable delivery charges at the time of checkout. The delivery time is usually within 5 - 7 days of the order confirmation.

Product listing by the seller which mentions that the ‘Item is NOT Available for Return’ cannot be returned unless a wrong item has been delivered.

Refunds will be made onto the original mode of payment / to the users account. Refunds will be processed within 10 to 45 days depending on the issuing bank of the credit card for orders placed through online payment.   

In case a wrong package is delivered, please contact us at support@yallabargain.com with your Order Id number in the subject line and we will resolve the issue at the earliest.

 

This section talks about the process of returning a product after being bought by a buyer from a seller.

We usually handle returns within 72hours after the buyer’s request for the same.

For any pickup (when a return has been requested by the buyer), we will make 2 attempts to pick up the item from the buyer. If the buyer does not respond to our logistics partners’ communication after 2 attempts, we reserve the right to cancel the return and release payment to the seller.

 

The same item may be listed under options to buy and rent, the below conditions are applicable only when the item is bought.

  • The Item received is not the item as listed in the site. For example, the color or shape does not match. Seller did not disclose the required information about the item sold such as condition of use.
  • Buyers should raise the request to return a product within 24 hours after delivery. After 24 hours, the delivery status of the order will change to complete from delivered and funds will be released to the seller.
  • Upon receiving the return request, we contact the seller and request for approval before returning the item. If the seller acknowledges that they provided a wrong listing in terms of the images or information, or if the product is not working /faulty then the product is returned to the seller for which the seller needs to bear the delivery charges based on the category of the product as mentioned at the time of posting the listing.
  • Items listed with the tag “No returns”, are not eligible for returns under any circumstances apart from missing item.

 

We urge you to use the private chat option with the seller for any clarifications on the product listed before buying or renting the same. Communication with the seller through private chat option for any clarifications on the product listed is used as a reference when return disputes are raised. We also recommend the buyer and sellers to take photographs of the product when being pickup for delivery for reference.

If the seller wants to dispute the return claim from the buyer, then the below process commences.

1. Seller requests to dispute the return claim from the buyer..

2. Yalla Bargain team will contact the buyer via email for reason of dispute.

3. Buyer needs to reply to the email with their reason of return within 48hours of receiving the email.

4. Yalla Bargain team will then contact the seller via email to verify the reason of the return claim of the buyer, the seller needs to respond within 48 hours of receiving the email.

5. Yalla Bargain team has the right to request more information anytime during the return claim process either from the buyer or seller.

6. Upon completion of the investigation, Yalla Bargain team will arrive at a decision and funds will be released accordingly with 48hours.

7. If any of the parties fail to follow or respond as per the mentioned deadlines, the return dispute case shall be closed in favor of the other party.

 

This section talks about the process of returning a product taken on rent by a renter from the owner.

The same item may be listed under options to buy and rent, the below conditions are applicable only when the item is taken on rent.

To avoid any confusion, Yallabargain.com has listed below the explanation words when it comes to renting a product.

Renter – A user who takes the product on rent.

Owner - A user who gives the product on rent.

The renter must not accept the item at the time of delivery if they are not satisfied with the product. If the renter accepts the item at delivery but requests a return within 24 hours, a minimum of one-day rental is charged for.

Any specific warranty /guarantee or refund of a product is possible only if mentioned in a seller policy as uploaded by the seller separately or if mentioned in the listing itself.

 

Rental Deposit

The Owner of the product which is listed on the website for rentals; acknowledges and legally agrees that in case of any loss or total damage to any item, the maximum amount that the Owner may claim against the Renter is the amount of the Security Deposit only under all circumstances. If no Security Deposit has been agreed or mentioned by the Owner at the time of listing the product, then no claim for loss or damage may be made by the Owner against the Renter.

The maximum amount deducted from the renter is no more than the rental deposit and the renter acknowledges and agrees that they are fully responsible for the rented item and for any consequences, loss or damage, resulting from its use to whomsoever it may concern.

At the end of the agreed rental period, a Renter is responsible for returning the item in the same condition to our delivery partner as it was received by the Renter.

Photographs are collected by our delivery partners during pickup and delivery of the products from both Owners and Renters for all transactions.

If the renter does not return the product to our delivery partner at the end of the agreed rental period, then daily rental charges would be deducted from the security deposit until the product is returned to a maximum of the security deposit available at the time of placing the order. Renters engaging in rentals through online payments legally authorize us to debit any late fees due to us through your debit or credit card.

Yallabargain.com currently does not offer any insurance for any of the rental products but is working with leading insurance companies in the region to facilitate the same in the future for both Owners and Renters.

 

Cancellation fees

An order cannot be submitted for cancellation if it’s been picked up from the seller / owner and scheduled for delivery.

Cancellations are possible within 24hours of placing an order with no charges if its not been picked up from the seller / owner of the product.

We do understand that sometimes buyers / renters find an alternative or might not require buying / renting a product after the initial 24hours grace period of placing the order, in such cases we will deduct 20 AED for administrative expenses.

If the product is picked up from the owner, then a minimum of one day rental needs to be paid by the renter if the product has been ordered for rental purposes.

In case the payment for the order was cash on delivery, the amount will be deducted from the Yalla Bargain Wallet as and when funds are available.

 

Lost Packages

Yallabargain.com logistics partners are experienced and the chances of a package getting lost are close to none.

A lost package can be reclaimed within 5 days after you are being notified that the package has been delivered. Please email us your lost package inquiry with the specific order ID of the lost item and we will reimburse the market value of the product as decided by the Yallabargain.com team.
